Epoxy Polyester resin is a versatile thermosetting polymer that combines the benefits of both epoxy resins and polyester resins. Typically, epoxy polyester resins are produced by incorporating polyester into epoxy resin, which enhances the properties of both components. Epoxy resins are known for their excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and high mechanical strength, while polyesters improve flexibility and impact resistance

1. Mechanical Strength: Epoxy polyester resins exhibit excellent mechanical properties. For example, adding polyester enhances the impact strength significantly compared to pure epoxy, which can increase impact strength by over 250% and fracture strength by 127% when modified appropriately.
